Your donation will be used to finance the purposes defined in our constitution:

• guidance for businesses,
• creation and distribution of educational resources on emissions avoidance and climate justice for young people and
• consolidation of the climate and development efforts of more than 1,600 businesses, towns, cities and districts.

One example of this is our annual Sustainable Development Future Forum. This conference format equips businesses to drive real sustainability and brings together industry, science and research representatives committed to sustainable development and climate protection. Together, we can achieve more.

We are an independent, non-profit organisation. We can accomplish a great deal with the funding we receive from the German government but effective climate protection is subject to ever more complex requirements and ever faster change. That means we need to strengthen our position and facilitate more dialogue, more information, more advice and more education.

In addition, the public funding the Foundation receives is scheduled to end in 2030. But our work will continue to be important even after that, so we need a reliable basis upon which to carry on providing businesses and organisations with support they can depend on now and in the long term.

Yes. We are a non-profit organisation and are authorised to issue a donation receipt that you can submit to your tax office. If you would like a receipt, please let us know your postal address.

Yes, if you talk to us first. The most efficient way for us to use your donation is if you do not specify a particular purpose. Then we can use it where it is most needed.

Of course! In fact, that makes it easier for us to plan and reduces the administrative work involved. You can set up a recurring donation using the donor form, for example.
